Critter Care Animal Hospital Health Packages

At our animal hospital we have specially designed affordable Pet Health Plan Packages.
Each Health Plan is customized by type of animal (canine or feline) and by the age
of the animal:

1. Canine

• Kitten

Most pet owners realize that regular visits to a veterinarian are recommended. This is correct and important. Health maintenance - the application of preventative medicine to keep patients well - is a hallmark of veterinary service. It includes many services above and beyond vaccination, and results in improved quality of life and longevity.

Health maintenance has several components. First and foremost, physical examination by a doctor is invaluable in revealing problems in their earliest stages. A complete physical examination involves assessment of all body systems, including the use of instruments such as the stethoscope and otoscope. Visual observation and palpation by a trained professional often reveal sub clinical conditions.

Laboratory testing is routinely performed. Fecal flotation's diagnose intestinal parasites, and blood tests indicate presence of heart worms and the feline leukemia and FIV virus. Routine screening of blood and urine evaluates organ function and may detect infection, anemia, diabetes, or other disease conditions.

Recommendations for health maintenance vary with age, species, and environment. Our doctors have established protocols that provide excellent care for all stages of life. To best serve the needs of all our clients and patients, packages are available which combine services at discounted rates. Although services are always available individually, use of packages results in more comprehensive preventative care.
